Thanks for the little nudge Sandie. To be truthful I had completely forgotten that it was my turn to choose the topic. My original plan for this month was to buy some matching papers and give every one a couple of pieces of them and see what they came up with but with the lack of a scrappin' store here(that sells something other than kaiser) and me not going anywhere major I never got around to buying them, maybe that will be for my next one. So instead this months challenge, seeing as it is February after all is Love. Amour (French) Gra`(Irish) Elska(Icelandish) Pagmamahal (Filipino) Leibe (German) Amore (Italian) yes I could go on and on. This can be lovey dovey love, love for a friend, love for a pet, love of chocolate (Mmmmm chocolate), love for a house hold appliance that makes your life easier, any form of love you wish. So go forth and scrapbook my friends and happy Valentines day for the 14th.
Mwwwaaaahhhh.

My challenge layout.

With a visit from sweet Coco, some fun times were had.

Saturday night the four of us ventured to the chinese restaurant for a wonderful meal [& of course Coco had to see Davey !!!]
Susy called down later in the evening to share dessert with us, along with some hugs & laughter.
We tootled back to my place afterwards & enjoyed some wine & lots of giggles and chatting!!!
So I thought, what better pic to use for this month's challenge than one from such a fun time together over a lovely meal !! So here's my page.

I found these 'pebbles' and just love 'em.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!

Welcome & hello to you all on this Christmas Eve.

I made these gates with my new 'Silhouette SD' machine. Just the best thing!!!

I've tried to make it look like you are seeing through secret garden gates that lead down to the bottom of the gardern to go to where the fairies live & play.

Well as it's nearly Christmas ........ (as if we need reminding!! ha ) .....

Fantasy ....mmmmmmm ...

Well today I want to tell you about my fantasy .......

Firstly, an angel would knock on my door & tell me to sit down and actually enjoy my cuppa (vanilla latte, yum), put my feet up & relax.

She would clean my house from top to bottom, doing ALL those little things that never seem to get done!!! It would sparkle, glisten & smell oh sooooooo good.

Secondly, one Australia's top chefs would pop on over and cook me up a storm of Christmas goodies to share with EVERYONE!!! Yum, yum, YUM!!!!!

Thirdly, Jamie Dury would call in to say 'hi' and then proceed to 'spruce up' my garden. How cool would that be & I certainly wouldn't mind a water feature!! hee hee

Lastly but oh so importantly, 'the boys' would be passing by in the car, stop call in and offer to give me a wonderful foot & back massage. Mmmmmmmm, woo hoo!!!

But alas, I am only dreaming and living in a FANTASY!!!!!

Surprise ......

The Shimmer saga concludes today.
READY ....

"Surprise!!" cried Mouse, presenting each guest with a juicy berry wrapped in sparkling cobwebs.

"Welcome to my SHARE A BLACKBERRY party!!"

Everyone tucked in.

"Thank you for sharing your berries!" they cried.

"You should thank Shimmer." said Mouse, "for showing me just how much fun sharing can be!"

"So what are you going to do with them?" asked Shimmer.

Mouse looked thoughtful.

"I don't know!" he squeaked.

"Then I have an idea!" said the wise fairy.

The next morning each of mouse's friends found a mysterious note on their doorstep.

"Please come to the glade at noon." they read.

"Who could have sent the invitations?" they wondered, as they made their way to the glade.

But no-one could guess what was waiting for them!

Can you guess what the surprise may be ?????

Today's story is the beginnings of .....

Shimmer, the Sharing Fairy.

One day, Shimmer the Sharing Fairy, was busy gathering cobwebs in the woods when she saw Mouse all alone.

"Where are your friends?" she asked.

Mouse sniffed unhappily.

"They're gone home!" he sqeaked.

"Just because I wouldn't let them eat my blackberries!"

Shimmer smiled, "Are you going to eat them all?" she asked.

"Oh no!!" replied the little mouse.

"That would give me a tummy ache!"

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if he will end up sharing?

"No" he squeaked. "I was fibbing. I thought everyone would like me better if I lived in a palace.'

Tilly smiled.

"You don't need to live in a palace for everyone to like you." she said.

"Friends like you for who you are. Just tell them the truth!!"

And that's exactly what little bunny did.

"I don't really live in a palace." he told the animals.

"I live in a burrow. But you can still come to visit me if you like."

His friends laughed.

"Thank goodness for that!" they said.

"We'd been much too nervous to visit a palace. Let's go and play at your burrow right now!!"

Well I'm so glad he finally told them the truth as everyone felt much better then.

Tilly continues ....

Sorry about missing a post yesterday but I don't think anyone missed me !!! hee hee
I was going to do it then was interupted, then I didn't have time as I was going out.

So the story continues now ....

In the middle of the crowd was a baby bunny waving his paws excitedly.

"My house has one hundred rooms." he squeaked.

"In fact it's a palace!! "

"Wow!" gasped the animals.

"Can we come and visit you?"

The little bunny blushed. "Of course." he stammered.

"Any time you like."

"Do you really live in a palace?" asked Tilly, when the others had gone.

The baby bunny blushed again, this time to the tips of his ears.

What is going to happen????? Will he be 'found out' ?????

Firstly we have HAZEL. I just love her tiara!!

This is BELLA. I like that her dress is blue!!

Today we are going to meet ....

Tilly the Truth Fairy.

One day, Tilly the Truth Fairy spotted a crowd of animals by the oak tree.

"What's going on?" she wondered.

Flitter, Flutter ! Tilly landed softly on the grass nearby.

A few minutes later the air was filled with the sound of fluttering wings.

Goodness !!! What's that?" cried Squirrel looking up.

The sky was filled with birds holding a long banner in their beaks.

"COME TO THE PARTY TODAY AT THE OLD OAK TREE !!" read Squirrel.

The birds flew over the whole woods. Soon every animal from the smallest mouse, to the biggest badger knew all about Squirrel's party.

"Thank you birds and thank you Hazel." squeaked Squirrel, as the animals began to arrive.

"It's wonderful what you can do with a little help from your friends !"

"It's Squirrel's birthday today." thought Hazel the Helpful Fairy one morning.

"I'll go and wish him a happy birthday."

But whaen Hazel arrived at Squirrel's house, she found him sitting on a branch looking glum.

"Why are you sad?" asked Hazel.

"It's your birthday today !!"
